WHAT IS ALPHA?

It is a course designed for anyone interested in discovering what Christianity is all about.

Set in a very relaxing, non-threatening atmosphere, you can share your thoughts and find out how life is worth exploring.

I AM NEITHER A CHRISTIAN NOR A CHURCH GOER. CAN I STILL ATTEND THE COURSE?

The course is designed for anyone interested in learning and asking questions about the Christian faith, whether they go to church or not.

HOW MUCH IS THE COURSE GOING TO COST ME?

We at Carnmoney like other churches, do not make any charges for attending our Alpha course, nor for the meal on the first night.  Part of the course however involves a weekend away at a Conference Centre where there is a charge for your accommodation and meals.  This is kept to a minimum charge and can be discussed with your Group Leader.

WHAT IF I HAVE SOME CONTROVERSIAL QUESTIONS I WANT TO ASK?

At Alpha, we encourage all guests to ask whatever they want, you are to feel free to ask tough questions about life and the Christian faith.

WHAT IF I ATTEND THE COURSE AND DO NOT WANT TO COME BACK?

If this does happen and you feel like you do not want to come back, you are under no obligation to return.  The course is designed to be a low-pressure and non-threatening experience for all who attend.
