Throughout the year we promote conferences that will encourage, challenge and motivate our members in their Christian faith, conferences such as the Mandate (www.themandate.net) which is a men’s event organised each year in November is designed to encourage, empower and equip men to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. Along the same vein is Focusfest (www.focusfest.co.uk) this time an event for women, held in June and is designed to provide inspiration, affirmation and an outlet for women to discover and develop their God-given gifts and potential.

Each of these events includes worship, seminars on all sorts of various topics as well as a special keynote speaker. The added bonus is that you get away with friends and have an opportunity to share together over meals and coffee breaks. 

We have also participated in the Global Leadership Summit (www.willowcreek.org.uk), which is held across Northern Ireland.  This is a series of DVD presentations of a live American event held each year at Willow creek. The speakers come from a varied background both church based and from the business world, but each of them bring an expertise of leadership that is useful for the church today.
