Pastoral Care is any form of help, support, encouragement or nurture given to those in need. It is helping individuals and groups within the Church and community at specific points of need in their lives, giving spiritual, practical and emotional support.

It is rooted in, and is an expression of, God’s love.

We offer a high standard of care based on safety and trust, respecting the individual’s rights and dignity. It is safe, accessible and confidential.

Pastoral Care Team, Bereavement Care Team and Prayer Ministry Teams consist of male and female members of the congregation who have undergone training to enable them to offer support, to listen and give spiritual advice.
