Easter at Carnmoney

Join us this Easter as we celebrate Jesus’ victory over sin & death.

Throughout Holy Week, we’ll gather to read scripture & pray and then on Easter weekend, we’ll meet for various services of worship.

Make a special effort to come along & invite others as we revisit the cornerstone of our faith - the death and resurrection of King Jesus.

PALM SUNDAY

SUNDAY 29TH MARCH - Church Sanctuary - 11am

We’ll be reflecting on Jesus entering Jerusalem, the final lessons and moments before the cross.

This is a family service so no Kingdom Kids or Little Stars
MORNING PRAYER

MON 30TH - FRI 5TH APRIL - Church Cafe (7-7.45am)
On Mon-Fri of Holy Week, we’ll meet in the church cafe to work through this devotional resource and to pray over our church & wider community. There’ll be tea/coffee and elders/staff members will lead each session. These gatherings are open to everyone, even if you can’t stay for the whole time.
EVENING PRAYER

WED 3RD APRIL - Church Cafe - 7.45pm
We’re also gathering to pray on the evening of Wed 3rd April to facilitate prayer for as many people as possible. The session will be similar to that of the morning gathering, but will also include worship and other readings from scripture.
GOOD FRIDAY

FRI 3RD APRIL - Church Sanctuary - 7.45PM

Then on Good Friday, we’ll reflect on Jesus’s final moments before the cross. Following that, we’ll gather around the Lord’s table for communion.
FAMILY BAKE ALONG

SAT 4TH APRIL - Church Cafe - 10am
This Easter Saturday, the 4th April we are inviting our families to come and enjoy some precious family time, bake some tasty treats and dive deeper into the Easter Story. This event is especially aimed at children, giving kids the chance to get involved, be creative in the kitchen, and discover the meaning of Easter in a fun and engaging way — alongside their parents or carers.
No need to bring anything- we will have everything you need. We ask that you sign up as a family so we know how many families we are catering for!

WORSHIP IN THE WAITING

SATURDAY 4TH APRIL - Church Sanctuary - 7.30pm

On Saturday, 4th April, we’re opening our sanctuary for an evening of worship & prayer. Easter Saturday is an ‘in-between’ day where we grieve, but not without hope. So it is with the Christian life - we worship God through all of life’s difficulties with a hope that far outweighs it all.
EASTER WALK

SUNDAY 5TH APRIL - Church Car Park - 6.45am

On Easter Sunday, we’re set for our annual walk up Carnmoney Hill. We’ll gather in the carpark at 6.45am and walk promptly up the hill for a moment of worship & prayer, followed by breakfast in the church cafe
EASTER SUNDAY MORNING

SUNDAY 5TH APRIL - Church Sanctuary - 11am

Then later at 11am, we’ll gather for worship in the church sanctuary as we passionately celebrate the resurrected King Jesus.

Little stars is on and Kingdom Kids is on (all kids will be together in sports hall)
EASTER SUNDAY EVENING

SUNDAY 5TH APRIL - Church Sanctuary - 6.30pm
Finally, we’ll gather at 6.30pm as we continue to celebrate our victorious King with multiple baptisms taking place.
